Fuel for the Soul_Yin Meditation

Having practiced Bikram yoga years ago for several years, I have recently re-integrated yoga into my life with Yin Meditation. This type of yoga focuses on flexibility and relaxation, and will cover maybe 5 or 6 poses in a one hour class. The goal is to stay in a pose long enough that you can really live the stretch and feel the effects, all in a positive flow of energy. My weekly class at the end of the day has quickly become an essential part of my week.

It is an excellent way to increase flexibility, presence of mind and inner strength while releasing toxins and decreasing stress.

Never underestimate the power of knowledge. Learning new things opens doors and brings opportunities, being reminded of things we already know often provides a renewed confidence. Learning is essential to our evolution, as it is through personal knowledge that we can develop the power to change.

This fuel for the soul is a simple request, to ask you “What can you include in your life to learn?” Maybe it’s reading a book, listening to your own inner thoughts more and discovering what they mean, watching a documentary, taking a class. Whichever way you decide to learn, look forward to the insights, experiences, and open doors that it will surely bring to you!
