VIDEO: LINKEDIN IN PLAIN ENGLISH

I’ve been a member of LinkedIn for a year or so, and I have to confess, I have not put any efforts to grow my connections at all. In fact, the only time I log to my LinkedIn is when I get an invitation to join a connection. I have not taken a minute to explore how I can proactively give more or get more from LinkeIn.

While browsing my RSS feeds recently, I stumble upon this video from our friends at Common Craft and once again, they have helped me shed some light about the LinkedIn phenomenon and have renewed my spark and determination to utilize LinkedIn to it’s full potential.

If you want to know more about how LinkedIn can help you exchange knowledge, ideas, and opportunities with your trusted contacts, view this 2 part video and see for yourself how simple and effective it can be.

Here it is: LinkedIn in Plain English in 2 parts.

The Common Craft Show.
The Common Craft Show is a series of short explanatory videos by Lee and Sachi LeFever. Their goal is to fight complexity with simple tools and plain language. They call their format “paperworks” and publish a new video about once a month and I have enjoyed every single one of them.
